Do NARUKO products have an expiration date?

Each item will have manufacturing or expiry date stamped on the box. Once opened, kindly use within 6 months to ensure maximum effectiveness and maximum benefit to you.

Are NARUKO products tested on animals?

No NARUKO products have been tested on animals and stay true to the 100% zero animal cruelty brand philosphy.

I’m a new customer. What are the basics you suggest I should try out?

Brand new customers should consider trying a basic ‘3+1 Super Absorbent Skincare' sequence of products which include a toner + lotion + serum and moisturizer / night gelly for using day and night as a basic skincare routine. Also, we would suggest a Peeling Gel for weekly exfoliating (either the Majoram & Lavender Peeling Gel or the Tea Tree Oil Out Peeling Gel for oily skin types), and a Night Gelly for nighttime hydration.

In addition, we highly recommend Facial SPA Massage Cotton Pads / Facial White Illuminating Cotton Pads for best results – use this to apply your toner and lotion (textured side for toner, soft side for lotion) to allow products to absorb better into your skin. Also, a toner-soaked cotton pad can be peeled apart into 4-5 pieces to be used as a cotton ‘mask.’

In what order should I use products? I get confused between serums, lotions, toners, and night gellys.

Below is the general product guideline for order of use. The English names for some of our products may differ between collections. For example, the Apple Seed & Tranexamic Acid Soothing White Hydra Essence, the Narcissus Total Defense Repairing Dew, and the Rose & Snow Fungus Aqua Cubic Hydrator are all categorized as toners.

Daytime: Facewash -> Toner -> Lotion -> Serum -> Eye Cream -> Moisturizer -> Sunblock/BB Cream
Nighttime: Makeup Remover -> Facewash -> Toner -> Lotion -> Serum -> Eye Cream -> Moisturizer -> Night Eye Gelly -> Night Gelly

How often should I use products like the Peeling Gel and Blackhead Remover? Can I use them every day?

It’s important to not overdo it on these products! They are meant to be used weekly, not daily. Depending on your skin type and condition, exfoliate with the Peeling Gel and/or apply the Blackhead Remover 1-3 times per week as needed.

Are NARUKO products safe to use during pregnancy?

We always ask that our customers kindly consult with their primary care physician to confirm any skincare product to make sure it is suitable for their personal use. However, NARUKO products do not contain parabens or artificial colorants and should be safe to use during pregnancy. Here are some additional details:

Essential oil: The concentration in NARUKO and ampm products is 0.01-0.1%, and is primarily used for relaxation and fragrance. would not harmful to pregnant women.

Retinoids : The average concentration is 0.01-0.3%, and should not be harmful to pregnant women.

Soy extract: The concentration of soy extract in all NARUKO and ampm products is 0.5-1% for anti-aging effects. It should not be harmful to pregnant women.

Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate): The average concentration is 0.05-0.1% for antioxidant effect. It would not produce estrogen through skin absorption and should not be harmful to pregnant women.

Salicylic acid: Only NARUKO Tea Tree Oil Out Target Treatment contains this ingredient. The concentration is 2% and is an approved medical cosmetic by Taiwan FDA.

I tried the products and I noticed that my skin was sensitive to it. What should I do?

Please discontinue use immediately if signs of irritation occur. You may test the product on a small patch of skin, such as your elbow, wrist or the back of your ear, leave it 24 hours for observation. If don't have any response such as redness, swelling and itching, then you may suitable with the product(s). We suggest that you can consult a dermatologist before using any kind of skincare product in the future if you are sensitive skin type.
